Greetings!
I’m Dr. Faisal, a dentist with a passion for biochemistry. My journey in dentistry has led me to be interested in fixing people’s smiles and understanding the science of the human body at a molecular level.
Throughout dental school, I was reminded that understanding foundational subjects such as math and physics is integral to grasping more complex sciences. However, one subject stood out to me: biochemistry. It is the bedrock for comprehending various disciplines, like physiology and pharmacology, not just dentistry. From unfolding fundamental concepts, such as how dental caries form, to clarifying the science behind the various dental materials, I was astonished to realize how understanding this introductory course I completed years ago has aided me this far in my dental journey.
Beyond the dental chair, I’ve dedicated myself to education. I am excited to share my knowledge of biochemistry with those eager to explore the marvels of cellular processes and molecular interactions, which serve as the building blocks of life.
