Hello! My name is Mohammed Skaik, and I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. With a background in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success in tutoring.
I have 4 years of experience in tutoring Mathematics, specifically calculus at the high school and first-year university levels. I have successfully helped students improve their grades, build confidence, and develop effective study habits.
In addition to tutoring, I have hands-on experience in the chemical engineering industry. I worked for 16 months in Timmins, Ontario with Glencore, where I was involved in various projects, including:
- Process optimization and control
- Research and development of new chemical processes
- Safety and environmental compliance
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve production efficiency
This practical experience allows me to provide students with real-world applications of mathematical and engineering concepts, making learning more relevant and engaging.
